Revista Velvet column "Shared Values"

Starting this column days before the plebiscite in Chile feels like writing a letter to the future. Will we citizens have the right to write our own Constitution and thus replace one that was not made in a democracy? When you are reading this, the approval will have swept. But regardless of the result, and whether or not we are in the trenches of the hard work that that means, I think it is essential that we work to find a common language and shared values, in order to establish our dialogue. Because that is the basis of democracy.
