Leonor Varela (47) began to write a diary where she narrated the experiences she was living with her son Matteo, who was diagnosed with Leukodystrophy AGS a few months after he was born. From that moment the actress began a battle not only to try to heal him but to give him the best possible quality of life, without thinking that in that arduous path he would become her great teacher and teach her unconditional love. This is how “Go to Heaven and Back: My Path with Matteo” was born, the book he launched a few weeks ago and which reveals life with his beloved son and in which Vito, the dog who accompanied him, also has an important space.
