The actress promised her son Matteo that he would be fine. The little boy died in 2018 from Leukodystrophy (progressive neurological disease), but she feels that his absence is only physical. Although she went through a deep stage of depression, she did not turn to antidepressants because she, says, pain is part of love and it is necessary to live it.
